FACEBOOK POSTING ON PETITION TO QUEEN NOT TRUE
Kuching, Fri: The press secretary to the Chief Minister, Ambrose Cheng today made a police report at the Gita Police Station here to deny that the Chief Minister's has ever divulged information to anyone that a petition had been presented to Queen Elizabeth to petition for a review of Malaysia Act 1963 as claimed by a Facebook posting under the account name Aman Shah.
In the posting it was claimed that Sarawak DUN had unanimously agreed to the review and supported by 630,000 petitions.
"The posting is not true and we leave it to the Police and MCMC to investigate," Ambrose said.
Ambrose was accompanied to the police station by Political Secretaries Buang Hj Bolhassan and Petrus Igat Mathias.
